***Bloggers Wanted***

I'm thinking of hiring someone to blog for me. Anybody up for the task? Hahahaha! Kidding! Some people blog quite religiously. Baffling! :o) I am waiting for my phone to sync with iTunes, installing a program on my laptop, downloading new songs for chorale practice, going through my emails, and listening to Tony Bennett radio on Pandora, so I figured I would just go ahead and give everyone (all five of you) an update. Multi-tasking at it's best. :o) 99.9% of my updates are pictures, so why change my method of updating now?! These pictures are basically from where I left off in October, so here they are....LOTS of them. :o)

Life in the fast lane...

This year has gone by rather quickly. It's been an exciting year! So much to do and not enough time in the day. It's amazing all of the opportunities that are right at our fingertips. One of the greatest things I have ever been involved with is One Way Mission. One Way Mission is a non profit organization that was started by a lady in our church named Kay (Charlina Smith). She is an incredible lady that inspires me to be a better Christian. :o) Kay started giving away a few sack lunches she had made at her house to give to anyone she seen throughout her day that was in need, and eventually it grew to 50 sack lunches, then she started giving out whatever was needed. It grew so quickly that she needed more help. We started helping her and it continued to grow! The biggest amount of sack lunches that we given out in one day was about 500... not to mention the trailer loads of canned food. Well, a couple of weeks ago Kay called my mom and told her that she felt like God was wanting us to do a special thing for just the homeless and He wanted us to feed 1,000. She felt a bit overwhelmed because she wasn't sure if we would be able to and because the funds were running low, but we knew that if it was God's will everything would come together. A few days later she received an email from Walmart saying that they wanted to give the organization a $3,000.00 grant. So next month right before Thanksgiving we are going out to feed 1,000 homeless people and to show them God's love and compassion towards them. We are ALL ecstatic!!!  We now have 4 different Boys and Girls Clubs and 3 different nursing homes we minister at every month, and its only growing! Please keep this mission and all the volunteers in your prayers! Here are a few pictures of the different things we have done with One Way Mission.

Hopefully this has encouraged you to get involved in your community. You never know what doors will open up for you! Be blessed and a blessing to someone else!

Peace, Love and Diet Coke :o)
